   Supernatural Botanicals turns 1 today!  It’s been an amazing year for us!  What a year it has been.  Thank you so much for your generous support and your emails.  A special thank you goes out to Smart Talk Women, Cincy Chic, and WE Magazine for their support!  And an extra special thank you goes out to all of our customers and wholesale vendors….without you, there would be no Supernatural Botanicals.  Thank you!

What I’m loving right now….Supernatural Botanicals Pure Orange Bath and Shower Sea Salts.  Formulated with European Spa Salts, Orange Peel, and Orange Essential Oil, this ultra-indulgent sea salt exfoliates skin and makes it radiate.  To keep tops of hands from looking parched and dry, use a handful of salts while washing hands to gently exfolate skin on the hands.

This online-only publication was recently honored with the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber’s “Best New Product or Service” 2007 Women’s Business Award. In addition, Cincy Chic’s editor and publisher, Amy Storer-Scalia earned a national Web-writing award from ASHPE in 2007 and a national feature writing award from ASBPE in 2006.

   As many of you know, largely do to my incessant talk about them, Supernatural Botanicals is undergoing artistic construction and development of new products.  All of our products undergo clinical studies by many different women, all with different skin types, and we perfect our formularies accordingly.   This soap that I’m holding is Pure Grapefruit Spa Soap.   It’s almost 7 ounces of thick, hand-cut soap and smells absolutely amazing.  These new formularies give you a true aromatherapeutic experience.   In fact, I have sat the Spa Bar down on my desk while I’m typing this and the entire room smells of fresh citrus scent.  Makes you just want to take a bite out of it!

When I think of the perfect smokey eye, I think Kim Kardashian.  This girl can work the smokey.  Admittedly, the smokey eye is difficult to achieve if you don’t know what you are doing with eye makeup brushes.  Fortunately, the gorgeous Kim Kardashian did a short video on her blog with the insanely talented Stephen Moleski who teaches us how to get the smokey eye.

You can learn application techniques from Stephen, but you’ll have to practice to perfect the technique.  Like everything, the only way to get better at something is to do it, and do it, and do it. 

 So….do it!   It’s a great look for a night on the town.  Vamp it up a little!  Try different colors, try different skin care lines.

     Yes, going green. It’s time we all got involved. The ice caps are melting and the planet is being destroyed by all the garbage, amongst other things, we are putting into it. One blog that our office reads almost daily is Danny Seo’s eco-conscious blog, http://www.dannyseo.com/

Not only does he give you ideas on being cognizant about being (and staying) “green”, but he also shares advice with his readers on everything under the sun, from interior design advice to what Kelly Ripa looks like in person (tiny!) He also has some great giveaways on his blog as well.
