Here are some fun-facts from the US EPA newsletter I received today related to the sun and your skin.
*You would need 62.8 gallons of sunscreen to protect the historic faces on Mount Rushmore.
* Humans shed and regrow outer skin cells about every 27 days. That’s almost 1000 new skins in a typical lifetime.
* Every square inch of the human body has about 9.5 million skin cells.
* By age 70, the average person will have lost 105 pounds of skin. (ew!)
* If the sun were hollow, you could fit about 1.3 million earths inside.
* If you weigh 100 pounds, you would weigh approximately 2800 pounds on the sun.
