Makeup VanitiesAre makeup vanities an area of forgotten interior design? Approximately 90% of women are wear makeup every day, so one would think this would be a vital and key area in a girl’s home. A quick Google search on makeup vanities depicts sad results. There are scarce findings, and very few gorgeous makeup areas to be found …anywhere. Since this is an area most of us utilize every morning, it should be beautiful and inviting, and a gorgeous place to start your day.
I have, however, found a few examples where they got it right. Check out the amazing spaces below.
What they’ve done right: Crisp and clean white walls and curtains makes this makeup area feel light and breezy. The carpet and chair add a nice punch of color and contrast. The over head chandelier brings beautiful elegance to the room.
What they’ve done right: They stuck with a theme …old Hollywood with a twist of French decor. The furniture is ultra-feminine and girly, the lamp picks up the color from the pale pink walls. Sunlight streams in for the back, reflecting off the mirrored table. Gorgeous!
What they’ve done right: Beautiful architectural details with the arches, filled with a wall-sized mirror that reflects the light from behind. Beautiful tiled flooring in white with flower accents brightens the space. Small mirror attached to the wall for tasks such as putting on mascara.

You should take a picture of your make up vanity and post it. I love yours and it is better than these.

hi do you know what site you got the picture of the first vanity from? i reaally wnna get it.
Jamella,
I love the first vanity, too. It’s a custom made piece. Very easily put together with the help from a carpenter (talk to the guys at Home Depot…trust me, you’ll get major service from the employees in that store.
wher eis th efirst vanity from with the pink chair so niceeeeeee
It is gorgeous. It’s a custom vanity, but any great carpenter can help you to replicate that vanity in your own home.
in love with the third vanity. have always dreamed of one. who makes it and and where can if ind it?
in love with the second vanity. i love the mirrored look and have always dreamed of a vanity. who makes it and where can i find it?
Would it be cheaper if I got a carpenter to make it?
Generally speaking, yes, it’s cheaper for a carpenter to make it. And don’t be itimidated by hiring a professional. Even a good handyman (if you don’t know one…borrow someone’s husband) can sketch and build something to your liking and custom fit it to your room. You’ll find lots of handyman advertising on bulletin boards in the lobby of hardware stores or even on public spaces, like Craig’s List.
Please, please, please- Tell me where I can buy this vanity!!!
