Avoid this look primarily by staying out of the sun.  But if the sun finds a way to ravage your skin this summer, combat the pain by applying cool, plain yogurt to sunburned skin, which has proven to be beneficial in taking the sting out of scorched skin.  Products that contain lidocaine are also effective for soothing sunburned skin.
