Now that Old Man Winter is rounding third and heading for home, your skin is probably at its height of being dry and itchy.  Not to worry, this is a super-simple fix.

By simply using exfoliating gloves in the shower, you gently exfoliate your dry skin away with each and every shower.   Shower gloves are slightly abrasive, yet gentle enough to not  scratch your skin.

Soap the gloves up with a great soap, either liquid or bar soap, and scrub every square inch of your skin.  Follow up with a fabulous moisturizing lotion or body oil, and your skin will be shorts-ready this Spring.

If you have access to sand, kick off your shoes and go walking in it.  Walking in sand is a great way to exfoliate the skin on your feet, making them baby soft (use a great moisturizer afterwards).  Walking in sand also helps strengthen your ankles and calves, making you super-sexy from the knees down.  What’s not to love about that?

Facial Exfoliators
Posted on February 13th, 2010 at 7:43 AM by Supernatural Botanicals

If you start using a gentle exfoliator on your face, your skin will look better.  It’s as simple as that.  Exfoliated skin looks fresh and flawless.  There are many facial exfoliating options, everything from the Buff Puff to Microdermabrasion and Peels.

A perfect facial exfoliator that’s great for everyday use is exfoliating gloves.   Use the gloves to gently exfoliate delicate facial skin.  Since you throw them in the washer after use (much like a wash rag) they are more eco-friendly than disposable sponges and puffs.  Exfoliating gloves are a must-have to keeping skin looking radiant.  They are exceptionally great to exfoliate lips.

bath pouf

Nylon shower poufs are great for shower gels.  They do a great job working up a lather …and that’s about it.  Sure, they serve their purpose, making tons of soap suds from shower gels, but don’t expect a nylon shower pouf to make your skin look good.  In order to keep skin looking its best, you need to constantly remove the top layer of blah skin, otherwise known as dead skin cells.  By regularly exfoliating with a wash rag or exfoliating gloves, you can keep your skin looking gorgeous and glowing.  If you’ve given up on wash rags completely, it’s time to dig them out of archives.  The nylon poufs aren’t doing your skin any favors (besides providing lots of suds.)

Again, a great nylon pouf serves its purpose and every shower should have one for shower gels, just don’t rely on it to exfoliate your skin.  Use a wash rag or exfoliating gloves with every shower to keep skin looking beautiful, with a fresh glow.

exfoliating-gloves.jpg    Get your skin in bikini condition with exfoliating gloves.  These gentle, yet slightly abrasive, gloves will slough off dry skin.  They are much easier to use than a large loofah sponge, and more effective, enabling you to scrub all of your bits and pieces.  Also, great for mild exfoliation of the face.  No shower should be without these gloves!   Available at drug and grocery stores….pick some up today and watch your skin transform into smooth softness.

Exfoliating Gloves

exfoliating-gloves.jpg   Skin feeling November-y?  November skin definitely needs different attention than July skin.  One of my very favorite routes of exfoliation is exfoliating gloves.  The gloves allow you to wrap your hands around your legs and smooth over knees more easily than a loofah sponge.  The texture of the gloves are slightly abrasive, but still soft enough to be kind to the skin, soft enough for use on the face.

web-ready-mixed-berry-update-july-6.jpg   Combine the experience with a Mixed Berry Ultra Exfoliating Spa Soap for ridiculous indulgence!  Your skin is thirsty right now…quench it!
