Wintertime doesn’t mean you have to put up with skin that’s not sexy.  Bring sexy back with one easy step…moisture.  Your skin needs extra moisturizing during winter months to lock in hydration.  One of the easiest and fastest steps to achieve this is to add a moisturizing body oil to your skin right after your shower.  After your shower, before toweling off and while skin is still wet, apply your moisturizing oil to every inch of your skin.  Your skin will not only drink up the moisturizing oil, but also the water that’s on your skin.  Lightly towel off, and you’re all set to be sexy.  Not to mention, you’ll smell amazing.  Try Supernatural Botanicals’ top-selling, all-natural line of Moisturizing Oils.

Avoid Winter Skin
Posted on November 3rd, 2011 at 8:50 PM by Supernatural Botanicals

Did you know that your skin absorbs approximately five cups of water every time you take a shower?  With winter on our heels, be sure to add extra moisture to your skin when you get out of the shower with either a great lotion or great body oil.

Now that Old Man Winter is rounding third and heading for home, your skin is probably at its height of being dry and itchy.  Not to worry, this is a super-simple fix.

By simply using exfoliating gloves in the shower, you gently exfoliate your dry skin away with each and every shower.   Shower gloves are slightly abrasive, yet gentle enough to not  scratch your skin.

Soap the gloves up with a great soap, either liquid or bar soap, and scrub every square inch of your skin.  Follow up with a fabulous moisturizing lotion or body oil, and your skin will be shorts-ready this Spring.

A Word On Shaving
Posted on September 15th, 2010 at 7:59 AM by Supernatural Botanicals

Did you know that you lose 20 percent of the top layer of underarm skin each time you shave?  (ew!)

To lessen the pain of shaving, wait until the end of your shower to shave.  The steam softens hairs for smother results.  And always use shaving cream to avoid knicks and cuts.

There’s something immensely enticing about the allure of a great sugar scrub.  Supernatural Botanicals Grapefruit Sugar Scrub is made from an all-natural vegetable base, and is bursting with the fresh aroma of pure grapefruit.  Nothing makes your skin scream “spoiled” more than beautiful, exfoliated sexy skin.

Our all natural formula never seperates, leaving a layer of sugar on the bottom and oil on the top.  Our sugar scrubs will maintain perfect consistency, which enables you to use every last drop and avoid waste.  The silky feel of the sugar scrub glides over your skin softly, exfoliating every inch along the way.  Skin feels soft and moisturized after use (and not like an oil slick!)

Turn each shower into a spa experience.  Want sexy skin?  You can have it.  Try Supernatural Botanicals eco-chic Grapefruit Sugar Scrub.

bath pouf

Nylon shower poufs are great for shower gels.  They do a great job working up a lather …and that’s about it.  Sure, they serve their purpose, making tons of soap suds from shower gels, but don’t expect a nylon shower pouf to make your skin look good.  In order to keep skin looking its best, you need to constantly remove the top layer of blah skin, otherwise known as dead skin cells.  By regularly exfoliating with a wash rag or exfoliating gloves, you can keep your skin looking gorgeous and glowing.  If you’ve given up on wash rags completely, it’s time to dig them out of archives.  The nylon poufs aren’t doing your skin any favors (besides providing lots of suds.)

Again, a great nylon pouf serves its purpose and every shower should have one for shower gels, just don’t rely on it to exfoliate your skin.  Use a wash rag or exfoliating gloves with every shower to keep skin looking beautiful, with a fresh glow.

Did You Know?

Did you know that your skin can retain up to five cups of water every time you take a shower?  Good news for hydrated skin…bad news for the scale.  If you regularly weigh yourself, make sure and do it before the shower.  Five cups of water won’t be doing you any favors on the scale.
