I love how he appreciates all kinds of food – whether it’s fine dining or a street cart. And he’ll try anything once.

Down to Earth, yet sophisticated, Bourdain is a culinary adventurer whose taste for exploration knows no bounds. A true kitchen rock star in a way that Emeril and the rest are unable to pull off.
From grubs in Africa to super hot chilli’s in Asia he will try it all, at least once. Gotta love Tony Bourdain!
I LOVE his dry sarcasm, but yet how he treats each culture’s food with respect.
My favorite part about Tony Bourdain is when he’s not having fun — he won’t be rude to his host about not liking a scene/activity/food, but at least he’s honest with his audience! And he’s such an amusing whiner.
I love him because he uses his scathing wit on himself as much as anyone else. I love him because he deeply respects food and all it represents and all the people who practice the craft sincerely, no matter how humble the environment. I love him because he’s right.

He’s fabulous. He travels the world and he understands the way that food can connect with countless cultures and how allows us to weave all of our stories together. He’s vastly entertaining, witty, sarcastic, and starkly honest but at the core, I love and admire Anthony Bourdain, No Reservations, and all of his work because embraces the unity that his art and craft provides.
Yum.
